We have a 3 week old & 21 mth old and are thinking of buying a baby swing for the times when our newborn just needs to be put down somewhere and be happy, especially during the evening rush etc when our little miss tends to be a bit unsettled. Just was after some feedback on whether people find them useful, & if any particular brand/model was better.. I notice too that most of them run on batteries only - how long do the batteries last on average?
I was hoping too that I may be able to use it to resettle Lilla if/when she starts catnapping - has anyone used it for this? I just imagine it's going to be harder to be always be able to put her in the pram with a toddler to consider too.
Appreciate any comments!
thanks
Danielle

Hi Danielle,
I had the fisher price rainforest swing and found it a wonderful product in the early months with Scarlett.
I mostly used it for the 4:30 nap when i could not get out in the pram or car.
I used rechargeble batteries for the swing as i have had lots of Fisher price toys that neede batteries. Also depends how often yo use the swing as to how long the batteries last.
I definately used my swing for resettling it is easier when you have another to look after. I found it the best investment ever and i wish i bought one when my son was born so I could have had more use out of it.
Hope this helps
Nicky

thanks Nicky - that's good to hear. I was thinking of using for the 4.30pm nap too so that's good to know it worked for Scarlett.
thanks again
Danielle

Much the same as a grown-up's swing, the baby swing highlights an agreeable padded seat suspended on an edge where your little one can relax for quite a long time. The swing's shaking movement looks like the development in the belly, so your child will feel loose and will presumably rest off after a brief time. Baby swings are typically battery-worked and can swing from side to side or all over. Swings come in various sizes and with different weight limits. When your child can sit unassisted, you should resign the swing or purchase an exceptional one for babies. This will have more belts and will shield your youngster from tumbling off in the event that they get excessively excited. https://babyswingclub.com/best-baby-swing-for-reflux-in-2021/ - Visit this website for more information about baby swings.
