Topic - Amadeus fork and spoon set
Posted: 25 Mar 2009 at 4:42am By Neals Mum

OK, I know I am a little cheeky posting in the product review section given I am not a moderator but I am sure Tizzie won’t mind since I have only nice things to say! Tizzie gave Neal the Amadeus fork and spoon set from he store to try as he has started expressing an interest (ie demanding!) he be allowed to try feeding himself.  I used to give him a normal teaspoon but he would scoop so much it all fell off before the food got to his mouth. The length of a normal spoon meant Neal also could not balance the food properly so the spoon tipped side-ways before it his his mouth. But  the Amadeus spoons are curved so he can easily scoop up a normal amount of food AND get it to his mouth most times because they are curved to fit a toddler’s hand so they can manage them better. Much less frustrating for Neal and mummy. Also a lot less mess for mum to clean up.  The spoons come left- and right-handed.  Neal  prefers the left-handed one so I use the other to feed him (he cannot feed himself the whole meal yet). So a big thumbs up for these spoons and a big thank you to Tizzie for the gift.. I have included some photos.
Oh, they come with a cute, stubby fork too which we look forward to using soon.
