Bubbaroo™ Joey Swag Sleeping Bag
Not only safe and functional but incredibly stylish! The Joey Swags are made from the highest quality fabrics and are like luxurious bedding. Why Does Tizzie Love The Joey Swag? Tizzie loves the Joey Swag because they are soft and fluffy like a duvet and they are low fire danger! Bubbaroo Pty Ltd is the baby of an Australian Mum so it is an Australian owned and operated company.

Hi Shell
They are bigger than the Grobags so you might find you don't need the bigger size but I am sure Nicole will consider it as more people use them. |

I say Irish and
Australian!! Darragh looks so cosy in his Bubbaroo! He is getting so big he just started solids! It was very unplanned he started catnapping and was grumpy and I thought I'll give it a go and he sucked the spoon and started screaming for more! He loved it! Hi All: I am in LOVE with these joey swags - they are just so gorgeous that i want one for myself!! They are so soft and silky and look so snug and the colours are classic and classy. The other think i love about them is it is so easy to use the 5 point harness for it. I have always struggled using the travel Grobags, i found i always had to 'shake' the kids right to the top of the bag to be able to fit the straps through but the joey swag is in exaclty the right spot - it is so great.
I highly recommend this sleeping bag! Edited by Abbie&Rylensmum - 08 May 2008 at 4:12am |

Hi All:
Below is a wonderful email the Save Our Sleep® team has received with some feedback regarding the Bubbarro Joey Swags.
Hi Girls
in case you are after a sleeping bag
the bubbaroo sleeping bags are fab- Tizzie gave me one to try this week and it is not only fantastic to use, the fabric is gorgeous.
i am getting the 6-18 months one for P, as it will last her for next year. You can choose to pick up from Barwon Heads which will save you on postage. The link to the page with the bags is:
Have a look on the site, she has so much stuff and it is all tested for safety and practicality- Tizzie has been getting me to test run some stuff so I know how much effort she goes into making sure she only has the best products. Sleeping bags are probably one of the most important items to be very careful of, and Tizzie is so fussy about only promoting especially safe products.
Cheers

Hi Girls
I bought 2 18-36 mth ones last week and they are fantastic i have had to wake Bailey every morning since starting him in these bags( was waking around 6am with the other brand ) Bailey is nearly 18 mths and they are a perfect fit around the arms and neck , they are longer than others i have used but this is not a problem plenty of room to grow.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!

Hi I thought I would share this with parents of early rising toddlers. I am getting feedback from parents that if they swap their early riser from a ********** to a Bubbaroo Joey Swag they start to sleep longer. I am not sure why this is or if it is always the case but I thought it might interest you. Maybe the Bubbaroo’s are warmer I know Darragh doesn’t get as sweaty in them so maybe theya re just more comfortable. Marty did you say you found this and thought it was because the Bubbarro’s were bigger? Marty please correct me if I have this wrong. If you have both a ********** and a Bubbaroo Joey Swag can you let me know if you find your little one sleeps better in a bubaroo?

I have received a couple of emails from clients who have purchased Bubbaroo Joey Swag Safe Sleeping Bags from their local baby stores only to find they are not the ones I recommend. As you will have seen me say in other threads Nicole from Bubbaroo made changes to her range before I gave them my TICK. So please be sure if you are going to purchase a Bubbaroo Joey Swag from your local baby store that you are actually getting one that has the Tizzie Tick of approval. |

Yes Tizzie i think they are definatly warmer they feel alot thicker and Bailey has had to be woken every morning since i swapped 2 weeks ago and i have not heard even a whisper from him at night since ( although he was pretty good anyway ) they are quite a bit bigger and i think Bailey who moves around more feel less restriced in this sleeping bag. A big

hey marty,
i'm using a 1 tog and i'm sure a 2.5 would be ok for winter up here, but i can't afford to buy 2 so want one that will suit summer as well. i do want a thicker one for night though as she doesn't want blankets on her. might get a 1 tog then. |

Hi Lisa:
Yes I do think the Bubbaroo 1.0 togs appear cosier and warmer than the **********. I do however still recommend a 2.5 tog Bubbaroo for night sleeping unless your temperatures remain in the high 20's all night as per my article advice -

Hi all
just wanted to quickly how much we like the Bubbaroo sleeping bag - we just bought Thomas (19mths) a 2.5tog one and they seem sooo soft & cosy - even Thomas patted it and said "oooh soft". They do seem slightly warmer too - great for winter.
We got a little Bubbaroo bag for bub no. 2 due in a few weeks so can't wait to snuggle him/her up in it too when he/she is ready for a sleeping bag!
great product!

Really, really yummy and squooshy. I would also like one for myself please.
They are much easier to dreamfeed in than the **********s because they don't do up over the shoulder - the material sits flat. I always struggled a bit before - the extra hoo haa on the shoulder always seemed to get in between me and Jacks mouth somehow. I found it a bit tricky at first to get on, but I have it sorted out now. More user error than design I think. I love that I can tumble dry as I have a reflux baby and sometimes 2 isn't enough if Jack is on a roll so I need to be able to wash and dry one quickly. I am a convert and won't use another brand after trying these ones. Did I already say there were yummy? Edited by thefoates - 16 Jun 2008 at 11:18pm |

Hi guys,
Just wondering what to buy for my LO, he is 13mths and is close to growing out of his 6-18mth **********. Should I purchase a 6-18mth, because these are slightly bigger, or go for a 18-36mth one?

Hi Jacqui:
The minimum weight that you can put a baby into the 18-36mth Joey Swag is 11.4 kgs.
The minimum weight for the 6-18mth Joey Swag is 8.1kg and the maximum length is 88cm.
So if your baby is longer than 88cm and 11.4 kg or over then you could safely purchase the 18-36 mth Joey Swag. If you baby is under this weight then we would recommend you purchase a 6-18mth bag.
Cheers,

Just wondering, has anyone got/used/looked at the Bubbaroo Joey Pouch? I still can't get the hang of swaddling OVER a sleeping bag, and with my little houdini getting his arms out of everything else (except a swaddleme, which doesn't work at all with a sleeping bag) the Pouch looks like a great solution for us...
Anyone?

Hi guys I want to purchase a 1 TOG Bubbaroo but I have two questions -
(1) do you only stock the travel ones? That is all I could find in your online store
(2) I have been reading this forum and some Mums have said that the Bubbaroo's are thicker then the ******bag. I live in Darwin and my LO's nursery is about 24 degrees over night. At the moment he is in a 1 TOG ******bag and 4 blankets, when I put him in the Bubbaroo 1 TOG should I use one less layer or is the difference not the much??
Thanks

Hi Neet:
I am currently looking into the Pouch and will let you know if I am going to give it my Tizzie Tick of approval as soon as I can. Hi Sammy: all the Bubbaroo Joey Swags are travel but you use them for everyday use as well. This is something I was looking for in a safe sleeping bag I didn’t like the idea of ones you couldn’t use for both everyday use and travel. If you got the 1 tog yes I would try one less layer and see how you get on. They do seem cosier and slightly warmer but yet babies get less sweaty in them so I believe they breathe well. |

My LO is (5) weeks, about 8lbs (just over) and after reading about these bags, I want to buy one as my LO is starting to get both arms out of his swaddle (waking at early morning), no matter how tightly we wrap him.
We are middle of summer in Virginia, USA with our house ac set for (72) farenheight constantly, throughout the night though I am sure it cools down around 4:00am. I am going to buy one of these and just want to confirm the best size (likely a 1 TOG). We are coming back to Australia in December for a few months, by then will be around 6.5 months, so still probably a 1 TOG, but obviously a bigger size. Thanks so much. |
